The Goshen Preschool Program integrates preschool students who are peer models/tuition paying students (students with typical developmental milestones) with children who have identified disabilities (and receive services through an individualized education program, or IEP) in each classroom.

Students must be 3 years old by August 13th, 2025 and be toilet trained (to be a tuition paying student). If your child turns 3 after August 13th, they are not eligible for our preschool program until the 2027-2028 school year.

Important Preschool Information:

Full Day Preschool (tuition $450/month) no bus transportation available (8:20-3:10 M-F)

Half Day Preschool (tuition $200/month) bus transportation available (8:20-11:10 T-F & 12:40-3:20 T-F)

AM/PM will be determined based upon your address

*You MUST be a resident of our school district at the time of enrollment*

Student will need up-to-date physical and shot record before starting in August 2026.

GENERAL GOSHEN PRESCHOOL INFORMATION:


Goshen Local Schools offers a Monday-Friday full day program, as well as an AM and PM half day program for all students that reside in the Goshen Local School District.

Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a three-tier quality rating (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) and improvement system for Ohio’s early care and education programs. SUTQ recognizes and promotes programs that meet and exceed quality program standards. SUTQ program standards are based on national research identifying indicators which lead to improved outcomes for children. Goshen Preschool is honored to announce that we are rated as a Gold Program, the highest rating available, through the SUTQ process. 

2026-27 Preschool Lottery/Registration Timeline:

*Returning students AND staff member students will have priority registration.

  • COMPLETE: Feb 2-Feb 13: Google form (will be linked on this page) for families to fill out to join our preschool peer model (students who pay tuition) lottery. Please note that filling out the google form does not guarantee a spot in a full or half day classroom. Students who receive special education services/are on an IEP do not need to fill out this form, your child will be assigned automatically. RETURNING STUDENTS - if you filled out intent form, you do not have to do this form too.

  • COMPLETE: Week of February 23rd: Notification of placement via email (families who completed google form will be placed in a classroom or waitlist)

  • CURRENT: By March 13th: Complete Registration Paperwork (on final forms)

    • *registration MUST be completed on final forms during this time to reserve your child’s spot in the preschool program

    • More detailed info to come to families via email

    • ALL families (tuition paying & students with special education services/IEP) will need to fill out Final Forms - NEW this year!

  • Early August: Notification of teacher assignment

  • August: Registration fee and first month tuition payment due

  • August: Open House & Meet the Teacher Night
