Students singing on a stage.

Students learning about reusable resources and how to measure energy.
Today we watched a play sponsored by Duke Energy.  The students learned about reusable resources and how energy is measured in a fun and creative way.  They also received a card to mail in to get their own energy saving kit!

Last week we had a great opportunity to watch Art Reach perform, "Rumpelstiltskin."  The students enjoyed the play very much!

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Dear Parents,
We will be collecting non-parishable food items tomorrow (Nov. 8th) and Friday (Nov. 9th) for the Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Your child should have a flyer with a list of foods needed.
Thank you for your help!

On Friday, our class earned 75 Warrior Up tickets for being respectful, responsible and building relationships on the bus and in school.  To celebrate, we earned an extra recess!  The students took great pride in earning that recess! #WarriorUp
Librarian reading books students.
Yesterday, Miss Christy from the Goshen Public Library came to read to our class.  We enjoyed all her back to school stories!  A great way to help build your child's reading fluency is by going to the library and getting a library card!  Reading to your child is the first step in them becoming successful readers and writers.
