Welcome to Mrs. Bredemeier's speech-language class page! I am very excited to be working with students to help them communicate better. I truly enjoy working with students in Goshen Local Schools. I received my bachelor's and masters degrees in speech-language pathology from Miami University. My husband and I have one son. In my free time I enjoy reading, attending my son's school events, making materials for students, and cheering for the Cincinnati Reds!

It's March Madness in Speech!  We practiced our skills which were on strips of paper with pictures of basketballs.  If we used our communication skills correctly, we got to shoot baskets into the trash can.  We could go all the way to the Final Four!

This week we continued the holiday fun by using our speech skills to request items we needed to make an ornament.  Our speech homework this week is about holiday fun and holiday wishes!

Once we caught a monster with our phone, we wrote down the word on the monster.  Then we used the word in a sentence using our correct speech and language skills.  We really enjoyed having fun while using our best speech!

We made acorns with our speech goals on them.  Then we added a sneaky squirrel who is trying to eat our acorns!  We had fun practicing our best speech while making them!

We practiced our good communication skills by using describing words to tell why our teachers are super!  Then we made special Valentines for our Super Teachers!

February

February is a busy month here in the speech room!  We will be using our communication skills to talk about the February holidays, including Valentine's Day and Presidents Day.  We made special Valentines for our teachers.  Stop by the speech room during conference evenings to see how we used describing words to tell why our teachers are super!  I will be available both conference evenings so please see me to discuss your child's progress in speech.

December

Our communication theme for December will be winter holidays.  Some of our activities will include a Roll, Say, and Color holiday game, a Twelve Days of Speech page, decorating a tree with our speech words, and making ornaments!  While we are doing our fun activities, Mrs. Bredemeier helps us focus on using our speech goals, such as correct speech sounds, complete sentences, and vocabulary skills!
