Box Tops

We will be having another Box Top Collection contest in September 2016.    We appreciate your support.  We are hoping to purchase more indoor recess equipment that will be needed during the winter months.

Holiday Centers for December.  We are using scooter boards to match letters and solving math problems.  We are also clipping ornaments to tree for fine motor strengthening.  We are counting and using tongs for fine motor control with our "present game".  We are also making a zig zag tree while working on hand strength and cutting skills.

Purpose of Motor Room

The motor room allows students to develop motor skills while engaging in learning activities.  We start our groups with a movement song to "get our brain and body ready to learn".  The kids also engage in center activities that develop fine and gross motor skills while adding academic components.
